A bag-in-box case packer takes a filled, capped bag and puts it inside its carton.
The carton is erected from a magazine into an index chain while a funnel forms the bag to carton shape and travels down into the waiting carton.
From there the machine works through its stations: load, fold, hot-melt seal top and bottom, compress, and discharges a sealed carton.
The frame is heavy-walled stainless RHS, fully welded and torsionally stiff, because a machine indexing this fast for this long is only as good as what it’s bolted to.

What is a bag-in-box case packer?
A bag-in-box case packer erects a corrugated carton, forms the filled bag to carton shape, loads it, hot-melt seals the carton top and bottom, compresses it and discharges it sealed.
How fast can it run?
Up to 30 cartons per minute on a fully automatic machine, and up to around 12 on a semi-automatic single-operator build. Actual rate depends on carton and bag size, and very often on the filler upstream rather than on the case packer.
Can it work with a filler we already own?
Yes. PLC integration to third-party filling equipment is a normal part of scope, and we've interfaced to a range of web fillers and bagging machines. Tell us the make and model at enquiry stage so the handshake is designed rather than improvised.
What carton styles does it handle?
RSC (Including Centermeting and full overlapping flap cartons) from pre-glued flat blanks, to AS3537. Board grade and blank quality matter more than most buyers expect, so we'll give you the specification before you order cartons.
Can it handle more than one carton size?
Yes. Size-specific change parts and magazines cover each carton, and dual-lane carton magazines with dual carton erect are available where the SKU mix or the rate justifies them.
Can two fillers feed one case packer?
Yes. A dual loading funnel lets a second filler feed the same machine, and it can be specified now or fitted later. It's a common way to add capacity without buying a second case packer.
Does it need continuous lubrication?
No. The machine is built from stainless steel and engineering plastics with no continuous lubrication required, which removes both a recurring maintenance task and a contamination risk from a food environment.
Can it code the bag and the carton?
Yes. Inkjet date coding on both the bag and the carton is a standard option, along with checkweighing and metal detection integration where your product or customer requires it.
Will it integrate with case packing and palletising downstream?
Yes — that's the normal configuration. We deliver lines running filler through bag-in-box case packer, wrap-around case packer, robotic palletiser and stretch wrapper, all on one Allen Bradley control platform with one point of support.
